We were honored to host a prestigious Canon delegation led by Mr. Toshiyuki Ishii, President & CEO, Canon Singapore and President & COO of Canon Asia, during a special business visit to Bangladesh from 7th to 9th May 2025.
His high-level visit focused on exploring new growth opportunities in the Bangladesh ICT sector and further strengthening the longstanding collaboration between Canon and J.A.N. Associates — a trusted partnership that has proudly stood strong for over 30 years.
On 7th May, Managing Director of JAN Associates, Mr. Abdullah H Kafi, Lifetime Honorary Chairman, ASOCIO (Asian-Oceania Computing Industry Organization) and Advisor to all of the Bangladesh ICT Associations: Bangladesh Software Association (BASIS), Internet Service Providers (ISPAB), Association for Contact Centers (BACCO), E-Commerce Association (eCab) warmly welcomed those Canon VIP guests at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and accompanied them throughout their Bangladesh visit.
During their stay, the delegates visited most of the ICT and camera sales market and visited some of the J.A.N outlets, where they met with our dedicated team and observed our operations firsthand.
On 8th May, the Canon team visited one of the corporate HQ of a CANON valued corporate clients, met with high officials, media partners, engaged with dealers and connected with loyal Canon users. The day concluded with a vibrant Get-Together followed by Dinner at The Sheraton hotel, Banani, Dhaka that hosted by J.A.N Associates to celebrate shared journey with Canon and future aspirations with our colleagues, partners, and clients.

On 9th May, all those Canon VIP guests safely returned to their destination, carrying with them the warm spirit of Bangladeshi hospitality and a shared vision for future success.
Throughout the visit, Mr. Kafi and his team members played a vital role in organizing and facilitating key meetings, reinforcing the strength of our stakeholder network and our shared commitment to Canon product excellence and innovation.
