J.A.N Associates organized IT Pioneers’ Get Together

 

 

Renowned IT entrepreneurs and industry leaders, and journalists attended the event. Abdullah H. Kafi, former President, BCS and Managing Director, J.A.N Associates organized the event. At the meeting, he said, “30/35 years ago from now few men took a risk and set-up IT companies in Bangladesh. Now, it is time to use their experience and knowledge for the good of the country. “Other speakers at the meeting supported Mr. Kofi’s view and urged the government to look into this matter. They said that a large portion of our population consists of young people. We must bring this young person into the ICT sector and ensure economic growth of the country. Among others former BCS Presidents- S.M. Kamal and Mustafa Jabbar, former President of BASIS Mahboob Zaman, Fahim Mashroor, current President of BASIS Shameem Ahsan and Vice President Russell T Ahmed, Shaikh Abdul Aziz, Atique Rabbani, Md. Sabur Khan, Mozammel Babu, Muhammad Abdul Haque and Pallab Mohaimen, Mojahidul Islam, Jakir Hossain, Kawser and Mohammad Khan were present at the meeting.
